Privacy
How Seeking Him Ministries handles church and member data on the Prayer Wall platform.
Last updated: 6 August 2026. This is a plain-language product privacy notice for the current Seeking Him Ministries Prayer Wall platform. It is not a substitute for formal legal counsel (see roadmap item P5-11 before paid public launch).
Who we are
Seeking Him Ministries operates a multi-tenant Prayer Wall website at seekinghimministries.org. Each participating church has its own private area (members, prayers, and settings) separated from other churches.
Private Prayer Walls
Prayer requests, encouragements, reactions, and member activity are visible only to approved members and church admins of that church. Listing a church in the public Church Directory does not make Prayer Wall content public.
Account information we store
Depending on how your church uses the platform, we may store usernames, email addresses (for login, confirmation, and password reset), profile details your church collects, prayer content you submit, and church-admin settings such as announcements and branding uploads.
Member accounts and approval
Churches control who can join. New members typically register and wait for church-admin approval before accessing the Prayer Wall. Church admins can reset member passwords when needed.
Emails we may send
When email is configured for the platform, we may send setup links, email confirmation messages, password-reset links, and optional prayer-related notifications (including urgent prayer notices when your church and preferences allow). We do not sell email lists.
Payments
Church subscription status is tracked so Seeking Him Ministries can operate the Prayer Wall service (for example trial, active, past due, or suspended). Manual payments are handled outside the website (for example check, cash, donation, or another offline arrangement) and recorded by the ministry operator.
When card payments are activated, card payments are processed by Stripe. Seeking Him Ministries does not store complete card details (card number, expiration date, or CVV). Stripe receives the information necessary to process and manage payment. Subscription and payment-status information may be stored for service operation. Until card payments are activated in the environment you are using, online card checkout remains unavailable and Manual tracking continues.
Card subscriptions renew on the monthly or yearly interval selected before Checkout until cancelled. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period. Failed payments may result in reminders, a grace period, and later suspension. Billing-support requests, including case-by-case refund requests or reports of duplicate or erroneous charges, can be made through the Contact page.
Do not enter payment card numbers into the Prayer Wall itself.
Security practices
Production forms that change data use CSRF protection. Sessions time out. Church data is stored per church tenant. Platform backups are created for disaster recovery; restore of production data is intentionally restricted.
Public directory and contact pages
Churches choose whether to appear in the public Church Directory. Platform contact details on the Contact page are published only when the ministry operator configures them.
