Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 August 2026. These terms describe the Seeking Him Ministries Prayer Wall product. They are an operational agreement for churches and members, not a substitute for professional legal advice.

The service

Seeking Him Ministries provides multi-tenant prayer ministry software for participating churches: private Prayer Wall, Prayer Closet, Daily Devotional, encouragements, church administration, invitations, and related ministry tools at seekinghimministries.org. Fellowship Social is not part of the current launch product. Card subscriptions may be offered when Stripe checkout is available; Manual offline payment recording remains available.

For churches

Your church is responsible for how members use the Prayer Wall, for approving members, for pastoral oversight of content, and for keeping admin credentials private. Use scoped church links (`/c/<your_church_id>/…`) that Seeking Him Ministries or your operator provides.

Church Use Guidelines

These Church Use Guidelines (also called Acceptable Use) describe the intended ministry purpose of Seeking Him Ministries and reasonable conduct boundaries for subscribing churches and their members. They protect the focused Christian prayer-ministry purpose of the platform without creating a detailed denominational doctrinal test.

Christian ministry purpose

Seeking Him Ministries is designed for Christian churches and Christian prayer and ministry use. The service should be used in a manner reasonably consistent with that purpose, including prayer, Scripture and devotional encouragement, Christian fellowship and encouragement, church prayer teams and groups, and related ministry use consistent with the purpose of the platform.

Non-partisan platform purpose

Seeking Him is not intended to function as a partisan political campaigning platform. Churches may still pray about leaders, communities, government, national and world events, and moral or social concerns. The platform should not primarily be used for party campaigning, candidate promotion, electioneering, or political organizing unrelated to the prayer and ministry purpose of Seeking Him Ministries. This guideline is about platform use, not about political viewpoints.

Prohibited misuse

Do not use Seeking Him Ministries for:

• Harassment, threats, or hateful or abusive targeting of individuals
• Obscene or pornographic content
• Illegal activity
• Impersonation of another person, church, or organization
• Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
• Malicious use, or attempts to compromise, disrupt, or abuse the service
• Intentional privacy violations, including misuse of information shared in confidence
• Using Seeking Him primarily for non-ministry commercial solicitation
• Knowingly abusing anonymous prayer features

Church responsibility

The subscribing church is responsible for selecting its Church Admins, managing its members, moderation decisions, content submitted within its church space, maintaining appropriate access to Admin accounts, and using the platform responsibly. This does not make the church responsible for infrastructure or security controls that remain under Seeking Him Ministries’ control.

Enforcement

Seeking Him Ministries may remove prohibited content, restrict features, suspend access, or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations. We may take reasonable action when necessary to protect members, churches, the service, or the Christian ministry purpose of Seeking Him Ministries.

Payment does not override these terms

Successful payment grants access subject to these Terms of Service and Church Use Guidelines. Payment does not create a right to use the platform in violation of those terms.

For members

Use the Prayer Wall for prayer, encouragement, and church ministry. Do not harass others, share illegal content, or misuse personal information shared in confidence. Follow your church’s guidance for reporting concerns. Member use remains subject to the Church Use Guidelines above.

Accounts and access

Access requires an approved church account (including self-service card signup after confirmed payment and accepted terms, or Owner-reviewed manual onboarding). Churches may disable access. The platform operator may disable a church that violates these terms or poses a security risk. Permanent deletion of a disabled church follows the operator’s offboarding procedure and is irreversible without a backup restore under a separate approved process.

Availability and backups

We work to keep the platform reliable for small churches. Maintenance, updates, or outages may interrupt service. The operator maintains backups for recovery planning; production restore remains controlled and is not a self-serve member feature.

Subscriptions

Church payment status (trial, active, past due, suspended, cancelled, and similar) is managed by the ministry operator for Manual payments, and may also be updated from Stripe when card subscriptions are in use. Pricing and renewal windows are communicated before checkout or by the operator. Card payments, when available, are processed by Stripe; Seeking Him Ministries does not store complete card details.

Card subscriptions renew automatically on the monthly or yearly billing interval selected before Checkout. The applicable price and interval are shown before payment confirmation. A church may schedule cancellation through the available billing tools. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current already-paid billing period, the church retains subscription access through that period, and no additional renewal charge should occur after cancellation is scheduled.

A failed payment may place a card subscription in Past Due status with a seven-day grace period. If payment remains unresolved after that period, Prayer Wall access may be suspended while church data is preserved and billing-resolution access remains available. A successful payment may restore Active status. Manual-payment arrangements remain subject to the terms agreed directly with Seeking Him Ministries.

Refund requests

Refund requests will be considered case by case by Seeking Him Ministries. Cancellation by itself does not automatically create a refund for the current paid billing period, and the platform does not issue automatic prorated refunds. For a refund request, duplicate charge, or erroneous charge, use the Contact page to reach billing support.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the platform grows. Continued use after updates means your church accepts the revised terms. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
